Title: Sea Life
Completion date: 2022.5.4
Size: 394X545(mm)
Materials: Watercolor on paper
Description:There is a wide variety of life under the sea, but we know very little about them.So I thought I wanted to paint a picture of a beautiful seascape that people do not know much about. At first, you might think that this painting is just a picture of the big shark in the middle. However, I placed a starfish and some coral reef, sea creatures that have very different characteristics from those of a shark, to show that many different types of creatures harmoniously exist together under the sea. As I was drawing this piece, I wanted to know more about sea life. I would one day love to go scuba diving to see and feel the beautiful seascape myself.

Title: Light and Heavy
Completion date: 2022.10.8
Size: 394X545(mm)
Materials: Watercolor on paper
Description: I tried to show the contrast of lightness and heaviness in a single frame by drawing stones and iron beads together with feathers. If you look closely, you will notice that the plastic bag that holds the weight of the heavy metal and stone is torn. I painted a rope to hold the plastic bag to express the gravity that is pulling its weight down.
I added some light weight feathers in contrast, to illustrate the difference in weight.
Title: Light of the room
Completion date: 2022.9.14
Size: 93 × 545(mm)
Materials: Watercolor on paper
Description: This painting is a view of a dark house.
The reason why I started to paint it was I thought the light which is in the middle of the painting was very similar to me. Actually, I drew it when I was preparing for the art high school entrance exam.
At that time, I tried really hard to improve my art skill and I spent almost my whole time on drawing and painting. Because of my study and art tests I always slept late at night, after all of my family went to bed. For these reasons I compared the candle to myself, who was awake alone until late at night!
When I look at this painting I feel very sorry for my past self, and at the same time I feel encouraged that I overcame this hardship!
